The special DOMINATOR® stroller was designed for the most demanding users. An advanced safety and adjustment system makes it suitable for children, adolescents, and adults with limited mobility. It is ideal for home use, rehabilitation centers, or outdoor walks. The stable construction, along with chest and pelvic supports systems and safety belts, makes the user feels safe and secure in the stroller.

The seat design has a significant impact on achieving and maintaining the correct body position in the stroller.

Adjustable pelvic supports, anatomical chest supports with a chest belt, and a head stabilizer help correct posture defects and prevent their worsening. DOMINATOR® provides a high level of comfort and stability. Adjustable chest and pelvic supports secure the user on both sides, ensuring the right level of fit and support. The adjustable abduction block additionally prevents crossing legs while sitting and facilitates maintaining the desired sitting position, especially for users with significant asymmetry in the spinal and pelvic region.

Combined with the adjustment of the backrest angle (recline), seat (tilt-in-space function), and footrests, maintaining an optimal, corrected, safe, and comfortable sitting, semi-sitting, or lying position is much easier than with other special strollers.

DOMINATOR® is equipped with adjustable armrests that provide support for the forearms. Alternatively, safety rail or a tray can be mounted in their place. The wide range of the  optional equipment allows you to customize the stroller to individual needs.

Adjustable backrest height, seat depth, and footrest length make the stroller grow with the user, adapting to their anatomical structure.

Thanks to hand brakes, controlling the stroller on uneven terrain, even with heavy users, is fully under the control of the person pushing the stroller. This significantly increases safety when going uphill or downhill.

DOMINATOR® is particularly recommended for users whose musculoskeletal dysfunctions require a high level of support, comfort, and safety during prolonged stroller use. It is suitable for users with both reduced and increased muscle tension. The wide selection of accessories allows you to adapt the stroller to individual needs of the user.

DOMINATOR® has four large wheels, making it suitable for rough terrain where sidewalks are uneven, and curbs are high.

The stroller is made of durable and long-lasting materials that will allow you to use it for many years. Available in 2 sizes.

INDICATIONS

It is recommended in the following cases:

  • Cerebral palsy (CP) – various types and forms.
  • Brain and spinal cord injuries of various etiologies with limb paresis, severe balance disturbances, and coordination impairments.
  • Demyelinating diseases (multiple sclerosis – MS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis – ALS, and others).
  • Meningocele.
  • Muscle diseases with paresis and paralysis (including dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, polymyositis).
  • Genetic syndromes with limb paresis.
  • Degenerative and metabolic diseases of the nervous system.
  • Degenerative and rheumatic joint diseases.
  • Other diseases with limb paresis, paralysis, and musculoskeletal impairments.
  • After injuries, following traumatic brain injuries or spinal cord injuries with limb paresis and paralysis, particularly with quadriplegia (as part of the rehabilitation process or as permanent orthopedic support).

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Critical condition of the user,
  • Paralysis,
  • Deep sedation,
  • Unstable fractures with specific orthopedic recommendations, including spinal fractures,
  • Untreated deep vein thrombosis,
  • Hemodynamic instability,
  • Documented brain dysfunction while sitting in an upright position,
  • Severe inflammation of the cervical spine joints,
  • Pulmonary embolism,
  • Recent myocardial infarction within the last 24 hours,
  • Fresh postoperative wounds or non-healing wounds in the back, pelvic area, hip joints, and thighs,
  • Users with mental disorders should not be left unattended in the device.
